FOUNDATION AND DEVELOPMENT
LITD was founded by Secondo Lanzavecchia and his brother Carlo in 1947: it borned as diamond dies producer in Via Sant'Antonio da Padova (Turin), but during the years, because of market request, diamond dies production was replaced by diamond tools for metalworking applications, like wheels, dressing tools and rolls.
CONSOLIDATION AND EXPORT
In the beginning of 80's, the first galvanic plant was designed and activated: LITD joined the electroplated tool sector. Afterwards, a second headquarter for metalworking applications was activated for hard metal processing, while in the 90's many technology machineries were bought. Meanwhile, the Lanzavecchia's second generation took over, the company obtained relevance also abroad and became a landmark for many type of products.
UNI EN ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
In 2000, to increase the available space, the company moved in Beinasco, the actual headquarter. LITD is UNI EN ISO 9001 certified company and is equipped in testing sector, thanks to profilometer, roughness tester, three-dimensional control, durometers and profiles projector. In the workshop there are also a self-learning lathe, a CNC lathe and a machining center, in way to consolidate foreign market supplies.
